Hi there! Welcome to our little corner.

We just really love good, old-fashioned food. You know, the kind our moms and grandmas used to make. We started this blog because we wanted to keep those amazing Balkan recipes alive and share them with you. Whether it’s sweet treats like Urmašice and Vanilice, or hearty dishes like Burek and Štrudla, we love food that feels like home.

Here is our biggest rule: you don’t need a fancy, expensive kitchen to make great food. We believe cooking should be easy and fun for everyone. So, we make sure all our recipes can be made with the simple, everyday tools you already have in your cupboards. No crazy machines needed!

We want to give you recipes that actually work on the first try, without taking up your whole day. Our hope is that you find something here that makes you excited to cook for yourself and your family.
